About the MS Center: The Multiple Sclerosis Center of Southwest Florida is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has served the community since 2000. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for those in Southwest Florida affected by multiple sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. The MS Center offers its clients a comprehensive wellness program consisting of therapies that have been proven to help people with MS to manage the symptoms of their disease. The center has services and classes in several locations throughout Southwest Florida, including therapeutic exercise classes for MS, art classes, counseling, case management, educational seminars and more.
The MS Center of SWFL is not a chapter of a national organization, and is supported entirely by individual donations, foundation grants, and fundraising events.
